Our Cary Operations and Billing Office staff:
- Christen Jones, Billing Manager
Christen Jones has been with Activcare Physical Therapy since December 2010 and supervises billing and insurance collections for the five clinics, and also works closely with patients on insurance and financial matters. Originally from Wilmington, NC, Christen has lived in Raleigh for over 15 years and graduated in 2003 from Meredith College with a BS in Business Administration-Finance. Christen brings great experience in business operations, along with knowledge of finance and accounting procedures to Activcare's fast-growing practice. Christen loves music and sports, and also enjoys coaching a girls soccer team for CASL (Capital Area Soccer League).

- Cathy Holland, Marketing Coordinator
Cathy Holland joined Activcare Physical Therapy in May 2011 as our Marketing Coordinator developing relationships with area physicians. She earned her coding certification from the Academy of Professional Coders and assists in our billing department. She lives in Raleigh with her family. Cathy brings years of marketing, management and billing experience to Activcare.

- Regina Wilkins, Billing Specialist
Regina Wilkins is a native of North Carolina, born and raised in the Hillsborough/Durham area. She joined the Activcare team in October 2011 as an Insurance Billing Administrator. She brings nine years of processing/billing insurance claims experience. She is currently working toward an Associates of Science degree in Accounting. In her time off she enjoys activities such as wrestling, PS3 games and biking with her son.

- Crystal Amerson, Billing/Collections Specialist
Crystal Amerson joined Activcare Physical Therapy in May 2011 as our Billing/Collection Specialist. She is a native of Raleigh, NC. Crystal currently lives in Garner, NC with her family. She graduated from ECPI as a Medical Computer Specialist in 1999. She received her Billing Certification from The Medical Billing Specialist of Cary, NC in 2009. Crystal has been in the medical field for 14 years. With her experience, she brings a great knowledge of billing to the Activcare team.

- Tamara Cole, Billing Specialist
Tamara Cole comes to Activcare Physical Therapy's Raleigh Office from Wellness One as our Front Desk/Patient Relations Coordinator, bringing seven years of direct experience in physical therapy. Tamara came to Raleigh four years ago from Virignia . She coordinates patient flow through the office from scheduling patients, assisting with payments, insurance verification and pre-authorization requirements and maintaining patient charts.
