Activcare Physical Therapy offers these Tips for Controlling Incontinence: Keep a bladder diary to record episodes of leakage and potential foods or activities that trigger leakage.
Bladder Diet – Several foods can irritate your bladder including caffeine and citrus products. Talk to your therapist or doctor for a comprehensive list of foods that may irritate your bladder.
Decrease smoking and body weight as both of these can exacerbate incontinence symptoms.
